Chamber of Commerce 58 Years Young And Still Going Strong

One of the oldest chambers in Queensland, the Bribie Island Chamber of Commerce Inc., turns 58 in November and continues to grow.

A passionate member for 29 of those years Marion Marriner was awarded Life Membership at the recent AGM for her outstanding service to the chamber, having served on the committee for four years over that time and continuing to bring new members to BICC.

Previous Life Members in recognition of their years of service to the Chamber include Past President Lyn Cook, Past Secretary & Editor of the Magazine Kim Mayes and current President Rhonda Cockinos. BICC is the only Chamber with a Tourism Magazine promoting our region for 48 years, a huge milestone for any publication.

Bribie Island Chamber of Commerce Inc. has bi-monthly networking dinners and constantly keeps members up to date on aspects of what is available and happening in the business world.
