A Message in a Bottle found at Toorbul last Month. WHO / WHERE IS EVELYN WHITEOAK?

Local identity David Glanville found a bottle floating in on the King Tide on Monday 14 December at Toorbul. Instead of binning it, David realised there was a message in it. He carefully opened the bottle which had been sealed with silicon, and read the following message from Evelyn Whiteoak.

A very happy message, with a lovely thought. The bottle has been “somewhere” since 11 November, and could have arrived at Toorbul from the North (Caloundra area) or from anywhere South – Bribie Island, Moreton Bay or even the Bay Islands. If you know about this bottle, we would love to hear from you. David is thrilled with the two charms that were also in the bottle.
