Welcome to issue 53!

In this issue our feature story is going back to Bribie Island Cinema’s. Just one of our local own and operated businesses that had to completely shut down during the COVID 19 restrictions. It’s a great read!

We welcome new advertisers to the LOCAL News, and as usual we ask you support our local businesses and keep them going. They need all the support from their fellow locals.

This issue also has many local community articles primary and with the state election nearing, we have our local candidates working hard with key issues here, State Leader of LNP Deb Frecklington has been visiting Pumicestone, looking at the conditions of our roads with Fiona Gaske (LNP Candidate for Pumicestone). There is a Great Article about Godwin Beach Eco Campsite Development Raising Concerns by staff writer Moza and Bribie Island Research Centre Key to Queensland’s Seafood Security.

Enjoy your read!

Warm regards

Belinda Ferguson
