Meeting Olivia Newton-John AC, OBE at Parliament House

Federal Member for Longman Terry Young MP met with Olivia Newton-John AC, OBE at Parliament House on Wednesday, 18th September for a lunch reception for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute.

A leader in the development of experimental and breakthrough cancer treatments, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute investigates and develops treatments for cancers of the breast, bowel, lung, melanoma, prostate, liver, gastrointestinal tract and brain.

The institute is running more than 200 clinical trials, giving patients access to potential new treatments including immunotherapies, targeted therapies and personalised medicine in order to find better, more effective treatments for cancer.

Through their efforts, the institute strives to help people live better with cancer, and find the means to defeat it.
