Beachmere was the location for a series of Property Fire Management Plan Information Sessions for residents from Beachmere and north to Donnybrook.

Moreton Bay Regional Council organised the Information Sessions, partnering with the South East Queensland Fire and Biodiversity Consortium and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services to present information on managing fires.

Residents of acreage or larger properties in the area were fortunate to receive expert and individual advice regarding conditions and requirements for their own properties.

The series of Information sessions were a great success with Beachmere residents who are now well on their way to getting ready for this year’s “fire season”.
